Poker player Fedor Holz did what does best after coming out of his brief retirement as he won a major tournament on Monday.
The German aged 23 is a high stakes poker pro and was the winner of the €50,000 EPT Barcelona Super High Roller as he was the man last standing. Holz took home the winning prize of €1,300,000. It has been an unbelievable year for the youthful professional as he is known for clocking seven-figure payouts regularly like California sunshine and is just short of winning the lifetime live tournament mark of $20 million. He is just shy of few dollars in catching the 8th place by displacing Sam Trickett from the all-time list in terms of money. Few short years are what has taken him to achieve the feat.
The chart is topped by Daniel Negreanu who is with under $33 million and people had said that he cannot be caught ever. Judging by the rate in which Feder is winning he will not only catch him but also sail past Kid Poker before he reaches 30 and leave him in the dust. (more…)
